Pros
- Awesome healthy meal for lunch - Used to have great people working there
Cons
This used to be a good place but since COVID everything spiraled into business ego-driven decisions, empty promises, and erratic decision-making. Here are some of the biggest points you need to know before applying at Ginetta: Employees safety and psychological safety - No real care for employees' safety as seen during COVID from management (forced office presence for fragile person or scared person) - The removal of any Project Management role created a lot of work on the designer's shoulder. Management behavior and decisions - Management's delusional wish to grow caused the rent of the second floor in Zurich that cost an arm and leg per month. - Due to poor budget forecast about 10 employees were let go in May (some of them after their 5th day of work, one of them, 2 days before her start). - 4 days obligatory onsite so the management "can see you working" - The introduction of a strategy unit complicates every part of the process and doesn't create any value/ or a very poor outcome. Diversity, talent, and other - Poor hiring of new employees that obviously were not a fit - Hiring of high-profile individuals (white males of course) that contributed to nothing except draining the business even more ("The unicorn client catcher") - Removal of most of the perks: phone, flat hierarchy, parental leave, professional budget and + The fact that the Glassdoor rating is still around four is due to ancient reviews and newer ones from current client partners (highly paid individuals who were almost never bothered by the points mentioned above) trying to lure in fresh meat.
