Writer - Anonymous employee Girls Life Employee Review

- Online writers aren't paid! Their website says that they have girls as young as middle school (!) writing for them, which means they're having them churn out articles for no compensation. Might be cool for the kids, but for a fairly large magazine, they should pick some strong contributors and pay them fairly. - You don't get any networking/other opportunities - Only communication is "thanks" or minor edits - No connection to GL other than editor - Barely any constructive feedback to grow
