Pros

* When they say they don't ghost any applicants, they mean it. * One-of-a-kind, direct-to-the-point hiring process * Salary is not even worth negotiating, as they'll offer you upfront something you'd be really happy with. That, to go along with local benfits on top of it. * They do things really fast here. The only difference compared to other companies is that they do so without sacrificing quality. * Far too often, managers and leads can be quite intimidating and imposing. Here, you actually look forward to seeing them every shift. You can feel they are there to help you and make life easier for you, instead of feeling threatened, pressured and worried about your work. * It's easy to just listen, anyone can do that. Leadership here in Givebutter not just listens, but finds a way to make your opinions matter and bring your ideas to life. This makes you feel truly valued with action, not just through words only. * Without a doubt, a company that's pro-employee.

Cons

If it's a CON at all, it's that we don't have enough open slots for me to refer everyone I know dying to work here. 😅

Pros

Givebutter stands apart from other tech-for-good companies because its mission is genuinely embedded throughout the culture from top to bottom. I have worked at other nonprofit technology companies that, at times, prioritized the bottom line ahead of the organizations they served, so it has been incredibly refreshing to be part of the Givebutter team and experience a different model. Here, actions are consistently congruent with the values the company promotes.

Cons

Typical growing pains - nothing alarming
