Pros

The office is in Midtown Atlanta.

Cons

Giveffect is an organization where you will not be given opportunities to develop your skill set or utilize your competencies to further the business. Instead, the CEO subscribes to micromanagement as their leadership philosophy. You will only be able to operate within the small box that she prescribes for you and competency is defined as your ability to do a task as close to how she desires. By this, if you are in sales, you're training is simply listening to previous presentations so that you learn how to present the material identical to how Anisa does. This is ideal should your goal be to climb the ladder at Giveffect, but you will not really learn skills that can be transferred to other positions should you outgrow/decide to move on from Giveffect. The real problem with this organization is that leadership has no desire to learn from past mistakes. Many of the behaviors and actions that led to the firm moving from San Francisco to Atlanta are being repeated. One would think that after seeing a slowdown in sales and inability to maintain a staff above 12 that the twins and Anisa would reflect on what is going wrong, however, it appears this pony only has one trick.

Pros

Working here has been a great experience overall. The team is supportive, collaborative, and contributes to a very positive workplace culture. It’s a place where you feel valued and encouraged to succeed. The compensation package is fair, and I would definitely recommend this position to a friend, especially for someone familiar with the industry.

Cons

At times, the KPI expectations can be challenging and may feel demanding depending on workload and market conditions. Having prior industry knowledge definitely helps with adapting quickly and meeting performance goals.

Cons

There are not many cons. Remote work is not for everyone, and we get limited face-to-face time with our amazing team. However, leadership does a great job creating opportunities for us to connect with social happy hours, etc. to make up for it!
