Pros

High upside pay-per-meeting model. Campaigns advertise $200–$2 000 per qualified meeting and reps report $125–$500+ on average, with weekly payouts. Work from anywhere, on your schedule. GlenCoco is a fully remote marketplace where you choose which campaigns to work and when to dial, making it easy to stack alongside a full-time role or studies. Fast start-up and low barrier to entry. Once you’re approved, you can be calling within days; the platform supplies an auto-dialer, CRM, and target lists. Solid skills playground. Because campaigns span tech, e-commerce, brokerage, etc., you sharpen discovery chops in different verticals while listening to top performers’ recorded calls. Mentorship & community. Reviews highlight supportive senior reps, Slack groups, and AI coaching that help new SDRs ramp faster.

Cons

Commission-only = income swings. There’s no base salary or benefits; slow weeks or no-show meetings mean $0. You need a cash cushion. Market-place competition. You must apply for each campaign, and popular ones fill quickly—hence the “DoorDash of sales” nickname. Strict qualification rules. If a meeting isn’t deemed “sales-qualified” (wrong persona, cancels, etc.) you don’t get paid—so accurate discovery and calendaring are on you (forum users warn of occasional claw-backs). Self-management required. Success depends on your own discipline, tooling, and phone skills; there’s minimal day-to-day oversight. Independent-contractor headaches. You file your own taxes, track expenses, and any earnings may affect unemployment benefits or healthcare subsidies.

Pros

Ultimate Schedule Control: Complete freedom to choose your own hours and log on whenever you want. You can easily pick up or drop campaigns to fit your life. Efficient Tech Stack: The AI-powered auto-dialer and built-in lead tracking are excellent. It cuts out the manual administrative drag so you can focus strictly on pitching and hitting your flow. Transparent, Fast Payouts: You know exactly what a campaign pays upfront. Once a booked meeting is officially marked as qualified by the client's Account Executive (AE), the payout drops quickly without standard payroll delays. Resume & Skill Builder: Fantastic for getting raw outbound sales reps under your belt, testing out different tech verticals, and proving you can source pipeline.

Cons

100% Commission Only: There is zero base salary or safety net. If a prospect no-shows or an AE disqualifies the meeting, the hours you spent dialing on that campaign go unpaid. Variable Lead Quality: Your success is heavily tied to the quality of the list provided by the client company. Some campaigns feature fresh, high-intent data, while others can feel like dialing through cold, stale lists. No Traditional Career Path: Because it operates as a freelancer marketplace, there is no internal upward mobility to an AE role, no corporate benefits, and no job security.

Pros

Working at GlenCoco has been an overall great experience. The platform is very user-friendly and easy to navigate, the team is welcoming and supportive, and RSN has been an incredible resource that has helped me develop and improve in ways I didn't expect. The flexibility and opportunity to grow here are definitely major highlights.

Cons

On the flip side, like any job, there is a learning curve in the beginning and it can take some time to fully get comfortable with the process. There are moments where things can feel a bit overwhelming at first, but once you get the hang of it, everything starts to flow naturally.
