No Longer What it Used to Be - Circulation Clerk Glenview Public Library Employee Review

What used to be a very rewarding and pleasant job has been completely changed with the addition of other duties added within the last couple of years. The Circulation Department now sells vehicle license stickers and landscape stickers, offers notary service to the general public and accepts U.S. passport applications. The passport applications are a huge job that require specialized training and knowledge. Many of these applications are complicated, requiring a good deal of time and work on the part of the clerk. No additional pay was given by management to employees when these additional tasks were added to their duties.
