We couldn't agree more, we DO have the best employees in the office equipment & tech space, including passionate individuals like you! Thanks for contributing to our entrepreneurial spirit and positive culture. We hear you loud and clear on your Advice to Management and concerns about the pace of progress with regards to our parent company, and have shared your feedback with our Senior Team. Parent companies are often like ACTUAL parents, in that they have extra constraints, but that's what keeps them in business! That our parent company gives us a high degree of autonomy is a testament to them recognizing our value. We appreciate you taking the time to share your thoughts with us, and thank you for all you do at GIS.

Pros

Great company culture. Employees and support staff are dedicated. Freedom to negotiate terms on deals in comparison with similar companies. Employees made it a great place to work. Effective leadership. Give salespeople many tools and support. Many incentives for meeting quotas like 2-3 company paid trips annually to places such as Ireland, Cancun, San Diego, Virgin Islands, etc.

Cons

Being new in the field, must put in long hours to be successful during your 1st year (~50-55 per week). Micro-management is helpful in getting sales numbers up but some can find it overbearing. Sometimes "guerilla sales" tactics are used, which is commonplace in the copier/printing industry.
