Pros

A lot of great, overworked, brow-beaten people work here. It's that general Nazi-whipped fear that allows you to make friends quickly.

Cons

Old boys’ club, fake niceness, micro-managing managers who are exceedingly dumb, owner of the company is EXTREMELY cheap. Think Scrooge McDuck, Mr. Burns cheap. There are several employees who definitely don't pull their weight, but instead of firing those people or getting them further training, managers will just pile the work on your plate and expect you to be happy with it. One manager in particular will only come bother you early in the morning, noon (lunchtime), and after 5:00pm. Basically, all the times that no one wants to be bothered. There is absolutely no forecasting. If you even try to plan out projects in advance, someone will absolutely come and screw it up for you. Expecting you to just drop whatever you're working on to attend to their "needs."

Pros

There have been a lot of changes within the company in the last year and a half to two years. The changes directly addressed previous complaints, making the current work environment extremely conducive to learning and growth. The senior director & VP level employees are easy to talk to and genuinely care for new ideas. They encourage projects that push for efficiency and automation, allowing the company to scale with available technology. Taking initiative is encouraged and guidance is amply available. The current sales and marketing execs make the company what it truly is- a supportive and motivating environment.

Cons

-The people/hr/office management structure needs some more work. The current processes have potential but they need some updates- a few dedicated resources could make things like payroll, benefits, etc much easier to navigate. -The benefits aren't the best but that's the case with most small to mid-sized Bay Area companies. It's more of a problem that has to do with cost-of-living rather than with company.
