Pros

Yes, they are Pros at ripping off drivers using a sly system of 24-72hrs to confirm deliveries, only this delay also leads to flanking the driver too. Unless the driver monitors and records their own activities, there is practically no way of determining that GP have paid the driver accurately. This is because GP pay the driver only what they wish to grant the driver to be paid weekly or bi-weekly. GP are the only platform performing this strategy. They bait the deliver fee by displaying $25.92 for a bundle or $38.88 for a triple, however when the driver is finally paid to their own bank account, the driver then realises that GP have in fact short changed the transfer of funds, but, if the driver calculates all their completed deliveries for that time period, the driver realises that that funds GP have paid also fails to align with the bank deposits and the daily earning updates that GP email the driver one day after the work is completed. It took me six months to work out what they are specifically doing, so, if you drive for GP, start calculating your activities and match it against what they actually owe you for that time period using your bank statement and your daily earnings updates. GP also use their invoices to proclaim their legitimacy, however; their trick is this: GP make it look like they have paid the driver accurately using their invoices as their prime argument. Only one problem with that strategy Wayne, the bank statements and the daily earnings updates fail to support the invoices provided to the driver. A classic case of masking the contractor with an invoice, and for single invoices, it wouldn’t work, obviously, but when there are a myriad of invoices, who’s going to know the difference, unless the driver is prepared to calculate their activities and match it against the bank statement and daily earnings updates. Wayne, you got it wrong, I understand the GP system perfectly. It took me a while, but believe me, I will expose you and GP, if it’s the last thing I do. How do you sleep at night? Shame on you.

Cons

What ever you do, do not agree to drive for GP. Read the Pros above.

Pros

If u r usless with no hope to get a job..

Cons

Low rate under scam.. They offer you job for 26$ 3-4 hrs while it take at least 7-8.. Moreover, they use different smart ways to mistreat their runners. In such of penalty, job types. Many times runners do 18hrs job with fuel cost 80$. They find their gain 170$ so 90$ for 18hrs. Another funny scam procedure, just imagine with this low rate they give you penalties for funny reason you was 5 mins late, your gps lost cover for 7 mins!!! You got home felling that you r a poor slave as the word means. Goepeople, makes huge money on poor worker account and treat them as they own them!! The reason none take action against such fraud in our beloved comunity! Thanks Thanks

Pros

Freedom to choose jobs, flexibility to balance work and social time. Ability to view easily which jobs you would or would not like to do.

Cons

Absolute rip off! Where do they get off paying runners such low rates, especially after their cut, oh and charging the runner GST as well if your not registered! No one is going to make enough to be registered for GST!! It's good for their customers on delivery price, but at whose expense? The poor runners, we don't live in a third world country so why are we getting paid like one!! Government needs to regulate these transport businesses and start making them pay according to fairness. Example; I applied for a shift, delivering flowers, for 3 hours, after being sent all over the place, held up in hospitals trying to find customers, ware and tare on vehicle, fuel cost, worked out that I basically worked for $6 an hour!!! Then to make matters worse, because I had to go to another job not relating to people post aka go people, I couldn't do the rest of my so called 3hr shift, they penalised me $11 as well. Total rip off, and if you are using them as you courier, well you should be ashamed of yourself!!

Hi, Sorry about your bad experience. As a contractor, you must pay tax on the service you're providing, so unfortunately that's the government's decision not ours. As for our low rates, we actually believe we offer quite competitive payment for our Runners, as they can earn up to $33 p/h if they have a sedan. Hope this helps!
