Pros

I worked with the company while I was a student and it was a great place to be! The hours were flexible, the money was superb and I got the opportunity to learn about a lot of great charities. The supervisors were really helpful with their coaching and advice and although there were targets to be met, these were targets given by the charities so it felt good to be under pressure for good causes. I really loved the fact I could go straight from campus to the call centre due to the smart/casual dress code and if I had too much reading to do for my course I could swap a shift. The weekly pay was really handy too!

Cons

I was with the company for over three years and don't have any complaints! Plus the clients like the fact that the offices aren't too posh! I guess one can't win with that sort of thing.

Pros

the pros are the very high pay and occasional good supervisors. At the dalston gogen you have a few really good ones, Tom is the best you can ever get! Glen is also good and blair isn't too bad. Also the colleagues always have a chat with you so its a nice environment to work in. its VERY flexible after you pass probation, you can work up to 1 shift a month!

Cons

the building is not the best. Also there is no shield between each computer like you would imagine in normal call centres so its a bit embarrassing if the person sitting next to you see's your results if you're doing badly. Its almost impossible to be kept on after probation period, i consider myself lucky to be kept on. Everyone i started with got let off. Make sure your percentage is always good even though they will tell you to get loads of contacts, its the percentage that they will look at when they are assessing you.

Pros

Practically Nothing. You meet a few colleagues who share the same dissatisfaction to the company. That is all.

Cons

Everything else. From management to the hours, last minute change of location (it really is last minute, as in you'd get to the agreed location then be told to go somewhere else). You're Job is not guaranteed. You have to meet ridiculous targets. 2/3 hours of unreal training (which is supposed to be paid for but they don't pay you for it). If you dont meet a certain target by midday your dismissal is on the horizon. You'll be dismissed by someone else, not the management team, you have no chance to appeal your dismissal (not that you'd want to). Management aren't professional at all. They don't care about quality or etiquette, it's all about numbers. Your constantly nagged about signing up more people so instead of being genuine and getting people who are really interested, you have to play on people's emotions. I could go on for several pages but if you wish to do charity work, work directly through a charity, not some cheap third party organization.
