Pros
LogMeIn is the favorite company I've worked for so far in my career, hands down. First and foremost, the company has a positive company culture and great offices around the globe. People are really good to one another here, we push each other to achieve more. While people are smart and driven, they also care about making sure that everyone works together, collaborates openly and fearlessly. LogMeIn is also having a lot of success as a company which makes me really proud, I really do feel that I have contributed to the success. Like any early stage company there are ups and downs, but over the 5 years I've been here I've seen revenue got from a couple of hundred million USD to 1.3 billion and the employee base grown from a couple of hundred to 4000. We have acquired some key companies, but we have grown significantly organically too. We will hire over a 100 employees for example in 2019.
Our Budapest office is right in the middle of the city, cannot be better. I really like, that our facilities are dog (and bike) friendly, allowing 4 legged "colleagues" to come to meetings and to any given occasion.
Work/life balance and flexibility could not be better here! I really do appreciate this. I feel like being the CEO of my own company here. I have freedom over EB projects, events, makes my work fun and versatile.
I have great and very professional colleagues, I love working with them on EB projects. I feel very fortunate to be able to call some of my colleagues close friends by now. LogMeIn wouldn't be the same for me without them.
Cons
Sad-sad times when our Caribbean offsites where canceled, but hey, I should be happy that over 3 years our team building activities where at Aruba and the Dominican Republic. Unfortunately not everyone gets automatically RSUs anymore, but salaries are still above average.
