1. Promotion method is very archaic. If you are nominated, you have to prepare a presentation about what you have done etc and even if the presentation goes well, promotion is not guaranteed. It's a very old fashioned method 2. Excess of pyramidal structure in organisation. In the world where companies are going flat with minimal hierarchy, godrej is introducing new layers ! Too many tiers make the decision making very slow . Too many alignments to be taken for simplest of things.
