Double standards -not all are treated the same

Salary was about $15 an hour which is good in this economy.

I found that most of the company is welcoming, albeit the race dynamic was absolutely horrendous, but we are talking about North DFW for a pool company. I had people actually trying to remember my name and enjoy conversations with me. Unfortunately, I was never invited to company meeting or functions the entire time I was there even though it was a requirement to go once a month to the company meetings. I say invited because I would need the approval to leave my job post to go sit in the meeting. The warehouse is hot when the outside is hot and cold when the outside is cold. They will send you on long 1 hour back and forth drives to go pick up supplies in places you've never been. This wasn't the reason I left but I should have known that they didn't want me there when they wouldn't even give me the HealthCare packet...
