Pros
They were wonderful to work with, and gave me many opportunities to grow and develop my skills. I was originally hired on to just assay, buy, and sell precious metals. Over time I volunteered my skills in writing and video editing to handle their social media, blog, and email marketing, which led to a solid bump in pay. They were also very generous will allowing me to take long vacations, so long as I communicated well ahead of time. I would absolutely recommend working here, just be ready to work hard, stay focused, and have fun.
Cons
This is inherent in the business, but you really have to be on your "A" game. One mistake in a transaction and you can easily be losing the company money. This can be somewhat stressful, especially when you're new, but you get used to it pretty quickly. Also, on occasion they can be short staffed, which can lead to some very long, very busy days where the store is operated by one to two people with a non-stop flow of customers.
