Pros

Good products but nothing else.

Cons

Please take your skills, time, energy and career elsewhere. As many reviews on Glassdoor have stated, there is NO HUMAN FACTOR here so please thoroughly read through and consider them. The CEO expects you to dedicate your entire life to his company and then will fire you with no hesitation at no fault of your own. Management team lacks basic skills. The turnover rate is high and people come and go except if the CEO has previously worked with them. Do not be fooled with the nonsense you are told during your interview or the positive reviews you see on here.

It is hard to recognize the environment you describe, a software company’s main asset is the people in the organization. Goliath could not have the success it’s had if what is described above was accurate. I’ll repeat a comment from below: Allow me to share a personal anecdote. A few weeks ago my parents were in town to celebrate their wedding anniversary. When the CEO heard this he quietly sent a very nice bottle of champagne to their hotel room. This is one of many examples I've seen of him personally going the extra mile for Goliath employees. His professional reputation, and the fact that many employees and executives have followed him to Goliath to work with him again speaks for itself, but you can see how he's positively impacted the careers and lives of employees on our careers page.

Pros

Working closely with small teams. Leadership is highly involved and engaged. The company has executed on a vision that will allow us to leverage where the market is going.

Cons

It's not a huge company so there is a lot for each person to tackle, but that also makes it fun.

Pros

Relatively quick application and hiring process

Cons

I was fired on my first day after moving to Philadelphia for the job after trying to clarify my job expectations with my boss. After overhearing my team complaining about all the overtime they had been working, I met with my boss to discuss how much overtime I should anticipate since I already commute an hour each way, have pets at home I’d have to coordinate care for, and didn’t know overtime was expected. I didn’t insinuate that I didn’t want to work overtime, just that it wasn’t mentioned during my interviews so I was caught off guard hearing my coworkers all talking about it. I was fired on the spot. So if you care about work/life balance, and even if they tell you during interviews that they also care about work/life balance, know that that’s not really the case. Also know that simply asking questions may cost you your job.
