Pros

Was able to meet and work with some phenomenal people and got to talk about a fantastic product.

Cons

Recent leadership changes has really effected the culture of Gong... Too much "at my previous company" or "in my previous experience" approach brought in on a culture that brags about having a "No Sugar" approach. leadership over promised on revenue targets and unfortunately it resultrd in the form of layoffs, in which there was a meeting 2 months prior stating that layoffs weren't occurring and that the company was in a good space.

Thanks for taking the time to write a thoughtful review. I appreciate your honesty. It’s nice to hear you enjoyed working with awesome people and love the product. I’m sorry to hear about your frustrations. Reducing our workforce was an extremely difficult decision. You’re right that Gong is proud of its #NoSugar operating principle and employees should feel that management is being transparent and candid with them at all times. I think our CEO’s letter (https://www.gong.io/blog/a-difficult-company-update/) about the decision lives up to that, but understand the situation was painful, regardless. I’d welcome additional feedback if you’re open to it: sandi.kochhar@gong.io.

Pros

Amazing company to work at, it's definitely hard work but it's worth it on a sales and monetary perspective.

Cons

You wear a LOT of hats and have a ton of responsibilities.
