Pros
Pros are that you can get away with doing the wrong stuff but if management likes you its a benefit for you?
Cons
Everything about working here is bad. Lunches are left over food from the restaurant and you get out of date stuff given to you No halal option for muslims eat what your given and you should be grateful If you dont run to the canteen at 12 to make a plate by 12:04 the food is over ( they used to cook a dish for 5 people when theres more than 15 staff working during the day Micro managed alot patronising, fake smiles all around from head of departments, not a care in the world My reception manager at the time was a druken used to come in late all the time which meant even after my shift is over i would have to stay back until someone could come in and cover My female manager used to ignore everything that was wrong with the staff ( culture, staff spirit, staff requests) HR the portuguese women doesnt side with the staff i dont even think she’s qualified for the job. Once i left ai asked to get sent my contract signed by email and it took 3 emails one including what a HR job is, just so I could get found out nowhere in my contract says that if i leave without pay that i would get my pay check cut by 80%. Horrible I can go on for days saying all the bad stuff working for this company it is a mess If you work lates you kight end up working all by yourself imagine taking care of a whole hotel by yourself No security training delaing with drunk men at night in reception alone as a female The CEO sounds friendly doesn’t say much comes in once in awhlie, when he is in everyone makes the company look extra nice and management try so hard to make it seem as if there is a great relationship between the staff Please check where the donations actually go to as they describe it goes to help people. “ for every pound spent”
