Pros
The organization’s mission is incredibly important and one’s work can be very fulfilling, even if at times overwhelming due to unrealistic expectations of you.
Cons
It saddens me to say this as I once loved working here, but right now is just *not* the time to work at Good Samaritan Hospice. Trust me! The workplace culture is becoming more and more toxic by the day and the organization itself is a sinking ship with many holes; employees are literally leaving in droves. The organization’s CEO is not at all the kind, caring man he initially appears to be. He is a careless, cowardly, self-serving egomaniac, a politically savvy master manipulator who either drives people away or gets rid of anyone he perceives to be a threat to his world order; basically anyone who doesn’t drink the proverbial Kool Aid and walk in lockstep just isn’t welcome here.
