Goodays Response
5yHi,
Thank you for your review.
As you no doubt know, we strongly believe in the power of feedback and conversations. We hope that your comment will spur others into asking themselves the right questions and investigating thoroughly.
As we believe in the power of conversations, we naturally want to respond to a couple of points you put across.
== 82% of grocery stores use Critizr
The claim that we are making is that, 82% of the chain grocery stores in France use Critizr Connection (our platform).
That particular claim is based on:
- The total volume of grocery stores in France belonging to retail chains
- The total volume of grocery stores (among our clients) using Critizr Connection at the end of January 2021 (deployed and active)
If one divides the second number by the first number, the result is 82%.
One could argue that independent corner stores could be a variable to take into consideration, which may be your position. As we focus on chains serving consumers, we use the above calculation.
== A free version of Critizr
For now, there is no free version of Critizr Connection. There has never been until now. And there are no plans to have one. As an ex-employee, we would believe that you would be aware of this.
We only partner with large consumer-businesses with 100's of stores.
That is not to say that we will never consider having a trial version of Critizr Connection. However, it isn't something for the short nor for the medium term.
== ServiceDock is a Google's Business Messages copycat
That is neither fair nor accurate, neither to Google, nor to ServiceDock.
Amongst many other messaging capabilities (SMS, WhatsApp, web, mail ...) and feedback management capabilities, ServiceDock happened to have an integration with Google's Business Messages as an extra channel for retailers to converse with their local customers.
Building a copycat of Google's Business Messages would be a substantially arduous task, requiring at the very least ownership of a very popular search engine. Only a handful of companies in the world can do so, and none has the reach that Google has.
== Take care of business operations
We appreciate that this was a very important topic for you.
We are working hard on this topic and recruiting a head of business operations today. It isn't easy finding the right person to build that department but we are committed to growing this function.
Have a good rest of the week. And don't hesitate to reach out via LinkedIn or email or WhatsApp if you want to share thoughts or exchange ideas.
