Executive Staff Benefits and Perks which took $ from the mission; Human Services staff without reviews for 3+ years; Staff positions eliminated/created with new title next day by Department leadership who was drunk on the job, more than once and HR staff was in meeting with; Misleading Marketing "90 cents of every dollar benefits individuals with barriers to employment"; Board of Directors who appeared to be interested in "talking the talk, but not walking the walk" - more clients served when they were an $8M nonprofit than a $22M nonprofit; Marketing and Fundraising staff had better technology / budget / renovated office space than direct care staff and their clients; Human Services Staff weren't allowed at the Awards Ceremonies celebrating the Mission, unless you were a staff member/with client "status" i.e. dated people in prison

Pros

Having a set schedule every week with 2 days off in a row Goodwill scholarship program is fantastic lots of career advice and support giving back to the community

Cons

Working weekends, nights, and holidays The customers are so rude Management says one thing but then caves to the customers which undermines the employees so many exchanges the clientele rude people the customers
