Physically demanding and often unsafe working conditions, with little concern shown for employee health. I've watched someone die on the job, and the warning signs were there long before the medical emergency happened, yet management paid no mind.
Injuries are not handled well; reporting issues can lead to retaliation rather than support. This creates a sense of isolation and hostility, they will do their best to force you into quitting.
Management communication is poor—policies are inconsistent and HR support feels minimal.
Pay is low for the amount of labor expected, and raises or promotions are rare.
Focus seems more on meeting production quotas than supporting staff.
