Pros
- Flexible schedule - Unlimited PTO (when you are able to take it) - Interesting tech stack - Decent pay/compensation
Cons
This place is VERY disorganized and whimsical. Favoritism is very much a thing among c-level management. Undeserving friends get positions, influence, and job security while people that have built the system get sidelined and laid off. They hire a bunch of great talent but can’t keep them for long because people see through the Koolaid pitch after a few weeks. The company has gone through many rounds of layoffs over the last two years- each one claiming “We got it this time and should be good for X years”. The stress at this company is very high. A lot of pressure to “Be the goat” while the fear of not making the cut in the next round of layoffs looms. In all hands, they talk about the company being in a great financial position yet high level people keep jumping ship (even the CFO bailed with little notice), and they keep laying people off. Used to be a fun company to work at- no way I would recommend it now.
