Pros

Staff and a handful of attorneys are friendly. Flexible scheduling.

Cons

*No room for growth. *Despite constant emails stating that the firm is growing and seeing record-level revenue, there have been layoffs, no raises, no promotions, and menial bonuses. The firm is also known in the legal community to pay below market value. Very disheartening. *There is no sense of real support because the office is very political and bureaucratic.

Pros

Respected firm, objective bonus is nice on top of discretionary bonuses.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy and the help that's promised is rarely actually available.

Pros

The Minneapolis office is a growing office with great opportunities for associates to get hands on involvement with depositions, motion practice and trials. I found my supervising partner to be a great mentor and person. She cared about me as a person and lawyer. I loved my time at Gordon Rees, but left for increased compensation.

Cons

Less than market pay. Senior associate laterals who were cliquey and sophomoric.
