Pros

The Dallas office is horrific. Managing partners are difficult to work with and have poor social/communication skills. I would run from this place unless you’re interested in doing toxic tort work. WAY below market pay

Cons

Bad management, toxic environment, lack of cohesiveness, associates are out to get each other, low pay

Pros

Respected firm, objective bonus is nice on top of discretionary bonuses.

Cons

Lots of bureaucracy and the help that's promised is rarely actually available.

Pros

The Minneapolis office is a growing office with great opportunities for associates to get hands on involvement with depositions, motion practice and trials. I found my supervising partner to be a great mentor and person. She cared about me as a person and lawyer. I loved my time at Gordon Rees, but left for increased compensation.

Cons

Less than market pay. Senior associate laterals who were cliquey and sophomoric.
