Pros
I met some really great people while working here that I’m still friends with to this day.
Cons
Immense micromanagement is due to the companies unwillingness to pay employees what they deserve and hire qualified members of the team to begin with. They’ve done layoff to employees who have been with the company 6+ years and framed it as a restructure only to rehire less qualified candidates to fill those exact positions a year later. The frequency of turnover raises questions about hiring process. When asked why we don’t backfill employees after they leave the company the CEO responded “we’re lean by design” as an explanation why the larger team will have to take on the responsibilities of employees who left the company. You’re required to come in office 3 days a week. If you’re sick or have an appointment during one of those 3 days you’ll be forced to use a sick day instead of working from home or coming in later in the week. Upward mobility is difficult unless someone quits and you’re able to take their position. I’ve never heard of anyone getting a raise simply because they deserved it. The lack of basic training in majority of departments is concerning. Lastly, there is lack of empathy, confidentiality and understanding for personal/medical issues.
