Grateful! - Administrative Specialist Grace Chapel (MA) Employee Review

No church is perfect, but I have felt supported by leadership, empowered to grow, and seen asa person - not a cog in a machine. Leadership at Grace, thus far, has been above reproach. Even if I disagreed with the decisions they made I could not disagree with their character. Many on staff are people I consider friends, and interpersonal dynamics are always handled in a healthy way. Work life balance is something that I think Grace does well. There are always seasons in which I feel stretched too thin, but I dont feel it is a constant.

Communication is not our strongest suit. Consistency across campuses is not always enforced. It can make being motivated to accomplish tasks/start initiatives difficult, if I know something we all should do will only be done by some.

There are many great people to work with. One of my bosses was very instrumental in my growth and took time to develop me and treat as an equal and teammate.

Right now there is a large transition happening at Grace Chapel. I worked here for almost 4 years and felt very disrespected when I decided to leave. I was affirmed by many staff that I had acted respectfully and with integrity in all that I had done so it was hard to be treated so poorly when I decided to leave. Leadership is trying to put a positive spin on many unhealthy things happening internally at the organization. They do not know how to properly manage and wait for problems to blow up before doing anything about it. There are several individuals on staff who always have hidden agendas and are constantly scheming behind everyone's back.
