Pros

1. Steep Learning Curve for Techies. 2. Opportunity to work on multiple technologies. 3. The Founders/Management is very ambitious and puts forth challenges, which is a positive sign for growth of a company. 4. If you are apple of the eye for founders then compensation will be directly proportional to their likeness. 5. Good exposure to high profile customers along with domestic travel. 6. If you are smart, you can fool the Management and can easily get work from homes and enter the office and leave office anytime of the day. 7. Since everything surrounds around Management's decision, just be sure that you have a great Manager whom you can stick around with and make sure that Manager is equally good at fooling everyone. 8. If you can market your work (whether you do any work or not), market other's work as yours etc. then this is the right place for you. 9. You can shout at the top of your voice and humiliate anyone in your team in front of everyone. 10. This company is a one-time goto place for the best and worst colleagues. 11. Free snacks 12. No defined cubicle so you can always disappear and appear without anyone claiming that you weren't at your place. 13. You get awarded for giving one new idea every quarter. Save your ideas for every quarter. 14. Frequent meetings with Management. Be sure you google whats the trending technology and can be sold to the company's customers. 15. Customer is everything so take your customer to the bar and keep him happy. 16. Don't hesitate to speak here. Everything that you speak is gold coz many of them lack the thoughts you possess. 17. 80% of employees are Telugu and if you are a Brahmin then this place is where you settle down until retirement. 18. Be good at extra curricular activities, and post your selfies at celebrations/festivals on watsapp group. No other group will take your selfies seriously. 19. Copy, Steal and Market is the success mantra.

Cons

1. Not a healthy work place for hardworkers. They are treated like donkeys. 2. Can't trust anyone. Anyone is a set of Managers, Founders, Team Members, Management, Operations, HR, Finance etc. Keep things to yourself. 3. If you are not their favorite then let God Save You. 4. There is only one goto person for your concerns (Others are merely just walls) and that's Mr. Anand, CEO. He is a keen listener, will provide great advice. This will be of great help for the future. 5. Women are often judged for what they wear and how they look. 6. There is no dormitory or sick room. If you are sick, they don't care. 7. No team lunches. 8. Everybody peeps into your laptop screen. since there is hardly any place to sit between two people. 9. Very bad tea and coffee machines. No cafeteria. Employees have low dining ettiquettes 10. If you have come from a very professional work place then this company is going to be a big culture shock. Company is low on courtesy, attitude, ethics, empathy, teamwork and high on biasness, showmanship, ego, negative gossip and closed-mindedness. 11. If you come early, nobody cares but if you leave by 6.30pm then all eyes will be on you.

Thanks for taking time to review. This entire review is based on the personal experience of one Individual and trying to generalise across the Org ,most of the review is centered around issues - Coffee machine, Someone peeping into laptop , Team lunches etc. We do acknowledge that we are startup company and might not have fancy office space & lunches. We strive in the value we are creating with our technology, accolades from the client what we do and providing a great work environment where all of us strive to have Fun & Freedom and work as ONE TEAM. We did conclude our recent anonymous employee survey ( which is shared across entire Org openly with comments provided ) , key Highlights - 1. 97% are satisfied. 1 in 5 are very happy. 2. 85% feel our skills are used well. (Of which, 29% feel it’s used extremely well). This is a strong driver of satisfaction 3.92% feel there is plenty or reasonable freedom in Gramener. This is the strongest driver of satisfaction 4. 98% get along with their colleagues reasonably well Yes...30% feel Physical environment can be improved ( agree with your feedback) and we are working towards the same. I would request other colleagues to let us know feedback and we will work upon on the same rather letting us know after 3 or 4 years of tenure.

Pros

Disclaimer: It's been a while since I left the firm, but I still think in terms of WE rather than THEY, when I think of Gramener. 1. It is what you make of it. It can be great for someone who’s aware of the tremendous resources and opportunities available, and makes use of them. But it can also be not-so-fun for someone not leveraging all that’s available here. 2. Lots of things to learn and lots of learning opportunities, irrespective of whether you're a techie or a manager. 3. Easy to get advice and guidance. 4. Very open style of management. There's always a listening ear. If you have something to say, you WILL be heard! 5. Nice and courteous people. This kind of culture seeps from the top down. 6. Very driven and involved leadership team. I found that inspiring. Look for the firm's backstory! 7. Some VERY COOL people work here. You will be amazed. Make the most of it!

Cons

1. With my limited visibility, the pay MIGHT be slightly on the lower side. 2. Can't think of a feasible solution for this, but I wish we would be able to match aspirations with roles better, and for more of our people.
