Good people, fun work environment - Software Quality Assurance Engineer Grand Vision Gaming Employee Review

Owners of company are very professional and great to work for. They have a great team of employees who are great to work with also. Never felt like I was having to pick up the slack for low moral. Employees and owners are very helpful, positive and happy there and everyone does their part. Was truly one of the best and most synergistic teams I’ve ever been on. HR is very helpful too. They also do lots of nice things for their employees, such as by taking us all out to lunch regularly and by providing us with lots of free drinks, coffee and snacks in the break room. More than any other company I’ve ever worked for. They also provided a great reference for my current employer. The experience I gained while working there has already helped me greatly in my current independent contract position with another gaming company that is just starting out, so needed someone like me who can wear a lot of hats to help them become successful. Once you have both both backend and the frontend QA gaming experience you can get with this company, it will help you further your career in a start up company with the next big idea or start your own like the owners of this company did who used to work together too. All businesses have their ups and downs. But it’s a great and fun field overall to be in. I enjoyed working with everyone there and you will too.

Honestly, nothing that I can think of. They are really a top notch company that is serious about success and will go far. I truly enjoyed working with everyone and would apply to work with them again in the future if I needed a job and one was available despite my position needing to be cut only due to Covid. I would still be there if it was not for the Covid shutdowns hurting small business like theirs is and our economy, as it has for many small businesses all over the country. But I think the company is on the right track overall, so should be able to survive it. Praying they do because good companies like they are to work for are very hard to find and get hired on to, since the turnover is very low to not at all. But once Covid is over and they are doing better and a position opens up in the future, they are definitely a company you will want to apply for.
