There are many cons to this company/job... 1) They don't invest in their employees. Their system is designed to work you to the point of burnout. If you go above and beyond, they will take advantage of you. If you speak up/out, they will mentally harass you. 2) Pay is terrible. Management is even worse. It is the true definition of a soul sucking job. 3) Benefits are very bad. The only slight effort they make to bring people together is a yearly gathering for go-carting...yeah. Oh, and the CEO will splurge one time a year for some outdoor movie night with food trucks. 4) If you do well, they will not try to help you advance your career. You are only promoted after set amount of time. If you try to leave to another department, they will keep you in. 5) They want robots. They treat you like a number, not a human being. 6) The place is a revolving door, which they bank on. People are constantly leaving because they hate working here. Again, Granite benefits from that, so they can get the new recruits and work for a period, until they learn better and leave. Did I mention that management sucks? Yeah. In summary, I highly recommend you look elsewhere. For your own well being and sanity, do not work for Granite.
