Pros

Great immediate boss, really quiet office, generally left alone,

Cons

The pay is so insanely low for a poorer state but this job is in Massachusetts, one of the least affordable states in the country, I’m not sure how anyone here is able to afford to live here, let alone buy a house They seem to be a charitable company, I believe they do this as a front to exploit workers into thinking they care for them, but in reality they don’t, the amount of charity they do is minimal and is mostly donations from employees, who, like I said are severly underpaid, This is just a morally bankrupt company that nobody should ever work for, the owner is a literal billionaire and the company generates over a billion a year but the employees get paid like absolute garbage. They exploit the temp to full time model by constantly churning out reps in different departments, consistently training people and then dumping them especially with the premier reps, which just wastes time for us in provisioning. Instead of investing in the talented employees they have they prefer this model, paying new temps 18 dollars an hour instead of investing in good hard working employees. They said they would change this at the yearly meeting this year but so far they’ve only made things worse for their employees and cracked down more on the work from home policy, not increased wages, not made our lives better, etc., One of the most mind boggling things they do is the strict schedule, absolutely outdated and embarrassing, you’re expected to work 8-12, 1-5 every single day, no exceptions, what about a doctors appointment? You have to show a doctors note like its elementary school, this is from the management, they’re absolutely brainbroken morons who don’t give a crap about their employees. This job could be done at any pace, at any time, yet they insist on this outdated time schedule that we have to follow and they don’t allow any overtime, so if we wake up early and get to work 30 minutes early we can't sign in to start working, I have to wait until 8, likewise if I’m trying to finish up something at 5 I cant do that because I have to sign out, literal brain rot levels of idiocy at this company. The work from home policy is absolutely idiotic as well, 3 days in office, two days from home, and why? What is different about these three days? Our jobs have no personal interaction whatsoever, there is literally no reason for us to be in the office besides just trying to control us Also as someone else pointed out they use negative reinforcement instead of positive, i've worked here for two years, been promoted, but have never been told "good job" or something similar, just emails and slack messages about what I'm doing wrong, totally demoralising, do not work here

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
