Pros

A recent client visit to our headquarters provided valuable external validation of Granite's internal strengths. A representative from a major national bank, themselves known for long-standing relationships, commented on the remarkable tenure of our account team, stating, 'The longevity within your team is truly impressive and a rarity in this industry and beyond.' This observation highlights the robust team environment and the avenues for professional development that contribute to employee retention at Granite. The dedication of our team stems from a shared belief in the company's mission and a strong sense of camaraderie. The personal involvement of our owner, Rob Hale, in welcoming clients further exemplifies the company-wide commitment to fostering strong relationships and valuing both our clients and our employees

Cons

Constant Innovation Means Continuous Learning. Granite is always evolving and adopting new technologies and strategies to stay ahead. This means there's a continuous learning curve, which requires a proactive approach to staying updated. While the company provides resources and training, individuals who prefer a static role with little change might find the need for ongoing learning a bit challenging. However, this focus on innovation is a huge benefit, keeping our work engaging and ensuring we're always at the forefront of the industry.

Pros

No pros what so ever.

Cons

This company and specifically the collections department have very little opportunity for growth, despite what may be promised during the hiring process. Honestly, it’s a circus. Non stop tasks are thrown at employees each day. And Goals are constantly increased so analyst can’t reach them. Employees who work hard and consistently perform well often find themselves stuck in the same position with no clear path for advancement. Promotions and opportunities never appear to be based on performance or merit. Management is one of the biggest issues. They have no clue. Favoritism is prevalent, and certain employees seem to receive special treatment, better opportunities, and more support than others. This creates a frustrating and discouraging work environment where many employees feel undervalued and overlooked. Morale suffers when performance and dedication are overlooked in favor of personal relationships and when there is little accountability for management and no transparency regarding career development. Communication from leadership is lacking, and employee concerns are not addressed. Management gets defensive when employees ask questions or disagree with their stupid decisions. Overall, it can be a VERY challenging place to build a longterm career if you are looking for fair treatment, professional growth, and strong leadership. Turnover rate is very high. Also, micro management is at an all time high. Would not even recommend this place to a college grad for entry level experience, if i could Put 0 stars, i would. For the sake of your mental health, stay far away.
