Pros
Very talented creative team that made amazing work together.
Cons
Lack of leadership - issues around microaggressions, bullying and a generally toxic and fear driven environment in the office were escalated to the highest level of the organization and ignored. Board is entangled with leadership in a way that leaves no space for accountability.
Lack of development - there's no real path for growth at this company. They will sell you the sky but there isn't a single piece of documentation that describes how you grow from one level to the next. Instead, people are gaslit and bullied into believing they aren't good at their job and then they leave.
Lack of diversity - they talk a good talk about diversity but they are just really good at marketing. There's no diversity in this company at all. There are a couple of white women who make the rounds on panels talking about diversity but they are the most problematic of them all. There are microaggressions galore against everyone based on not only race but also gender and sexual orientation. Anything they say about being diverse is surface level only, trust.
Culture - there's a HUGE gap between what Granny represents itself to be outwardly and what's happening on a day-to-day internally.
"We lead by knowledge" - not the case, there’s so much hierarchy and undermining
"Diversity first" - LIES
Trust, transparency and fairness - MORE LIES
Responsibility - untrue. Nobody is accountable. Direct feedback is given but no accountability to absorb it and actually shift behavior.
