Brilliant and highly competent team with a mission-driven agenda to help everyone navigate our complicated healthcare system. Our projects give us a lot of autonomy and agency. We are also not afraid to research approaches to get where we need to be. This leads to meaningful contributions to high-priority work that is innovative and fun to solve. Our decisions, processes, and designs are documented extensively, making onboarding new people easy. This leads to a highly transparent organization where every step of the way is visible to anyone who needs to be involved and revised.

As a startup, it can be hectic when there are deliverables to demo to users and investors, as is expected. We have a nontraditional holiday schedule where some holidays are not a default, but we have unlimited PTO, so it can be used for that. We are still figuring out our processes around planning and week-to-week engineering practices as we scale. We are still light on the process, which is nice, but would expect it to evolve and formalize over time.
