Pros
- Having worked at multiple agencies, I would consider Graphite a new breed of agency in many ways. Graphite keeps the team focused on client impact and NOT on all the fluffy stuff that you see many other agencies spend HOURS on - long PPT presentations, meaningless process, pointless meetings, etc. Graphite empowers their people to make decisions with process as needed, and builds tools in-house to make our jobs easier. I feel more like an entrepreneur running my own book of business with support from Graphite vs. working long hours at an agency, spending 50% of my time on making things look nice/getting client buy in - Speaking of client buy-in, most deals are sold in at the executive level vs. procurement, so we implement WAY faster than I've ever seen at another agency. Can truly have career defining impact at Graphite. Always have an exec sponsor for all clients who can remove roadblocks for us - A+ clients. Like, the most innovative clients out there... Netflix, Masterclass, Robinhood, Medium, Honey, Thumbtack, etc. These clients come to us to own their organic growth 100% - Super collaborative team - Leadership team is extremely practical and not afraid to hire/make big investments to benefit the team - Access to leadership is extremely easy -- CEO, Chief Growth Office is constantly helping folks out in projects, in Slack, etc. - Team is very collaborative, always helping each other out in Slack - Building innovative tools that we use on our projects to get results from clients - Unlimited PTO and flexible work schedule as long as you get your work done - Remote first culture is great ... donut/informal chat opportunities each week to meet new team members - EXTREMELY smart co-workers -- I'd consider them best in class in our industry - Industry leading comp package
Cons
- We move FAST at Graphite so that we can implement high impact initiatives and have a big impact. Our pace and intensity can be overwhelming for folks who want to work in a slower/more corporate environment. Not a negative for me, but I've seen super process oriented folks who need a lot of hand holding struggle at Graphite. This is NOT the place for you if you aren't a self starter/autonomous worker who enjoys learning new things, moving quickly, and working towards a big impact goal.
