Appalling management. Toxic and nonsensical at a high level, that only cascades down to the lower ranks.
You will be given a start time for the following day, usually around 4pm.
You'll turn up for that start time, to then be told that it was changed. They will never bother to tell you. Ever.
Got a appointment? You will not make it. Work has purposely been given to make it impossible to complete to make a prearranged appointment. Even if it's for medical reasons.
Office staff have a tough job to do. They are stuck in a snake pit, and constantly avoiding the affor mentioned, bad management. As a result, and bare in mind it's the office staff handing out the work, will intentionally make your life miserable. Some out of spite. Some out of incompetence.
Trucks are old, and potential health hazards. Bring your own cleaning products.
It's usually a different truck everyday, so if you cleaned the one you were in, do not expect the favour to be returned.
A colleague tried looking time of for his daughters wedding. Months in advance. The office said "Sorry, you can't have the time off". Then said "Maybe they can move the wedding to a day that's better for the company".
That is the level of belligerent, and unrealistic management, that you will encounter.
