Felt like flipping burgers. Hyper critical, passive aggressive management. Shifts were assumed to begin/end "around 15 minutes" before and after scheduled shift, although every manager had a different answer for when to arrive. Also the schedule frequently changed after posting and you were responsible for just Knowing these changes automatically.
Didn't mop ever, which is super gross. One manager told me I shouldn't clean my counter or chair between clients, which is literally illegal. Working here wore down my self esteem and made me reconsider being a hairstylist. Save yourself the trouble and work somewhere that isn't set up to milk you till you drop.
