Pros
Always busy! Not taking appointments allows you to not need a book, and guaranteed money! Hourly pay, bonuses, and great tips. Great Clips as a company takes care of their employees, but it depends on who your franchisee is that determines your impression of the company. Luckily I work for an amazing one!
Cons
While I understand the need for scheduling for the customer, sometimes it's hard having a consistently changing schedule. Makes it hard to close one night and open the next. Although scheduling this way allows you to always be working when you're needed (ie making money).
