Pros

Its very simple- Great Clips is a franchise owned and run by various individuals. The experience you have as a stylist at Great Clips will vary entirely upon on the franchise owner you work for. Some are FANTASTIC.. ie easy going about timing, understanding about calling out, understanding about not being able to sell a certain amount of products every time, giving managers ability to schedule according to what they need, hiring a team of "floaters" to cover shifts weekly at varying locations and being accommodating as to which locations you do and dont want to work at, doing really nice things like Christmas gift card for every employee, and huge bbqs w a taco truck and a bounce house for your kids on memorial day :) However, if you end up working for an AWFUL franchise owner your experience will be below the bottom of the barrel. They will have you running for the door after they have worked you to the bone with a skeleton crew on a shoestring budget. Choose wisely!

Cons

clients can be way too picky for a discount salon that is not even a full service salon. some clients can be rude like everywhere. some coworkers are drama, rude or just weird vibes..

Pros

Flexible schedules, 401k, health, & dental benefits, bonuses (based on salon performance, base wage with poetional to hit commission on service & product sales, fun friendly & welcoming environment for employees/customers, continuing education for growth in the industry, professional career growth with Great Clips (depending upon your franchise)

Cons

Haircutting exclusive so if you enjoy other services in the industry (chemicals, waxing, updo styling) this is not the place Franchised salons, so salons are ran differently.
