Supportive Team: The team at Great Southern Bank is incredibly supportive and always willing to help. As a graduate, I felt welcomed and valued from day one. Learning Opportunities: There are numerous opportunities for learning and development. Due to small teams throughout the bank, you gain immense exposure to all managers, heads of and even the CEO! Work-Life Balance: The work-life balance is excellent. The management understands the importance of personal time and ensures that employees are not overburdened. Career Growth: There are clear career progression paths, and the bank promotes from within. Hard work and dedication are recognized and rewarded. Inclusive Culture: The bank fosters an inclusive and diverse work environment. Everyone's ideas and contributions are valued (I say from personal experience even though I'm just a grad!)
Cons
Challenging at times: Due to the fast-growing nature of the bank (approaching to become an SFI), the work can be fast-paced and challenging, which might be stressful for some, but it also provides great learning opportunities and professional growth.
