Terrible place to work - Circulation Assistant Greater Victoria Public Library Employee Review

It's a physical job. The higher ups micromanage everything and there is no autonomy. You're treated like a child. It's impossible to be heard and if you are, it because you're in trouble. They don't want to make changes that benefit anyone but management. There is no budget for proper staffing because management make outrageous amounts for micromanaging. Don't get me wrong, they're busy but it's because they need to approve everything.
