Pros
IWork experience, and most people are nice. If you can get through this job you can get through any job.
Cons
Expectations very unclear. You will get a different answer depending on who you ask. Employees, especially editorial staff (can't speak for editors though) are very underpaid and overworked. Guilt and fear tactics are used to make sure employees work off-the-clock unpaid. It is not uncommon to work 50 to 55 hours a week but only be paid for 40. Everyone I ever knew working there was and is constantly looking for other work. At $13.50 an hour, it's just not worth it. I'd say work here if you really, really are desperate for experience and are maybe still in college.
