Pros
I've been working at Greenbits for almost 2 years and I can say the company is a completely different place to work compared to how it felt 4 months ago. My first year working here was filled with lots of product delays and confusion. Support and Customer Success were just plugging holes in the dam and watching more open up. The new company leadership as changed things dramatically. We now have a plan and goals and we're shipping new features again. We've had long standing issues we've had in the product that we've been arguing about for over a year. We are now fixing them. The register doesn't crash anywhere nearly as often and the back office service runs well. It was difficult to go through the layoff and I was afraid this was the end for me with so many people leaving. But I've been surprised that we have been able to service our customers without missing a step. The product and engineering teams are actually getting new features out on time too. That hasn't happened in a while. Sure, there is a long way to go but the team has the right attitude and empowers employees to find solutions to problems and implement them. For now this is an exciting place to be.
Cons
We're a pretty lean team and work hard. So be prepared for that but the new management seems really open to alternative work plans and styles. Also if you're new to the cannabis industry, it's a very you industry with customers that expect a lot and are not always that professional.
