Pros
Learned important fundraising and canvassing skills, really amazing co-workers (and good supervisors) that you inevitably will become friends with working so closely, fulfilling work.
Cons
Canvassing has it's downsides, particularly door canvassing alone can sometimes feel unsafe. There wasn't much upward mobility from the canvass position into other positions within the organization, the departments felt very separated.
