Pros

•Parent company Samsonite has decent benefits. •Company makes good backpacks. •Flexible work environment.

Cons

Though the company makes good backpacks, they are afraid to be industry leaders. The organization fears new, innovative thinking and hides in a cocoon of past triumphs. It's a masterclass in futility! Strategies, lines of logic, and creative direction are constantly recycled to protect the status quo. There's a lot of "urgent" motion without real achievement. Leadership suffers from the "Legends in their own minds" syndrome and will try to discredit anyone that challenges them. Basically, the company is guided by insecure leaders that have narcissistic tendencies. Furthermore, the culture at Gregory is very cliquish. If you don't think like the clique then you're a fool and an outcast. Team bonding is done by putting competitor companies, products, and people down. During my tenure, there was no effort put into team building nor employee growth. To put it simply, it's a culture of toxic insecurity. To sum things up, most people at Gregory are good. Those good people are the ones that get things done and get products made. The terrible thing is they have to suffer through a lot of abusive nonsense. Because of bad leadership, Gregory will always be followers, never leaders- they're in the business of playing it safe.
