Pros
Absolutely none. I left after 60 days because of harassment, bullying and threats. 60 days! Threw my keys on the desk and walked out because this is not property management. It's a bunch of old school people that have only been with one company and are terrible at leading. Not one of them would make it with another company because they would be fired for the way they treat their employees. I should have known better when I was informed I was the fourth manager on my site within a year!
Cons
In my fifteen years of property management, I can honestly say Greystar is by far the absolute most terrible group of people I've ever worked with. The Directors are all old school property management "professionals" that "lead" by intimidation, hostility, demotivation and threats. How this company hasn't been sued is beyond me! New blood is definitely needed in the Orlando regional office. The Orlando site employees are miserable, hate their jobs and hate the Directors of Real Estate in the Orlando regional office. My RMs favorite word was "I." She lost two managers in one week because of the way she talked to them. Another manager within her portfolio is actively looking for new work. But as Greystar says, "everyone is replaceable." These are not the people you want to work for. The company very much still operates as two separate companies: Riverstone and Greystar. Orlando regional office is all old Riverstone employees that bully. They need to all be fired and new talent brought in that can change the company for the better.
