Pros
Great people to work with/for. Residents are wonderful and appreciate everything you do for them. Mon-Fri. Entire team from Manager to porter feel like one big family. Free basic insurance. We know all about each other and for the most part everyone cares about each other.
Cons
Pay is horrible. One housekeeper on property for large community expected to get 7 or more units ready a week. No over time means 2 or more units a day are expected to get done (almost impossible when the units are fitly or someone has skipped out and left everything) NO BONUS,NO COMMISION! Office staff gets the commission for people signing a second year (or more) when its the maintenance team (which housekeeping is part of since we do help the maintenance team a lot) that keeps the residents there and make them want to sign another year lease. Treated like a work horse and expected perfection in a very limited time. Work load is unreasonable. Drops new units to clean last minute for late day sudden move in. Sent into wrong units to clean when people are still living there.
