Pros

Benefits, that’s all I can say.

Cons

-Work life balance does NOT exist. You are bombarded with emails, texts and phones calls from upper management (over the weekend too). You are worked to the bone and underpaid. -So many employee turnovers (I have even lost count) I have never seen so many employees quit within a 6-month period. -You have absolutely NO support from upper management. -You get in trouble for doing the right thing, even when you go above and beyond to help and or satisfy a resident. (I’ve never seen this while working for other PM companies. ) -You are thrown into the fire. Sink or swim. Figure it out on your own. Read the SOP. (Is what they say) -Anytime you ask for help, upper management’s response is: “put in a help desk ticket”. I can’t seem to understand why they don’t take time out of their day to actually help their employees. -We were threatened (twice) that our payroll was going to be cut if we didn’t get our delinquency numbers down (this is during COVID-19) -Too many reports to complete, you can’t even keep up with your normal job tasks. You feel extremely overwhelmed you barely have time to spend with your staff because more than half of your day, you are sitting at your desk completing reports. - I have never felt so unmotivated in my past work experiences. -Zero company culture -Response to COVID-19 was terrible. No protocol/guidelines, putting employees and residents at risk. -Completely disorganized - RPMs have no clue what’s happening onsite.

Pros

-Great networking opportunities. -Good IT support. -Great benifits. -Great employee housing discount and housing opportunities. -Commissions will make your paycheck worth it.

Cons

-Management is broad and impersonal. You may feel like a number. -Your workload can be a lot at times. if you work well under pressure, you'd succeed here. -The leasing season is not year round meaning you will have slow months and you will have good ones. Save in the good months to get through the slow ones. -High turnover. Resilience will get you far. -It's rare that you get your weekends at a company like this.
