Pros
Some of my coworkers were productive, helpful and friendly. I am really struggling to come up with pros to describe my experience with this company. In the 6 months I was there, I kept hoping I'd find something worth sticking it out for.
Cons
They will say anything to get a qualified/experienced person through the door. Make sure you get everything in writing. They will lie about what properties in your area have openings - They needed an experienced APM at a property in a terrible area so they told me the position I'd applied for (5 minutes from where I live, in a safe neighborhood) was no longer available. After I accepted the other job, I saw on the internal job listings that the other position was, in fact, still open. There were also two other APM positions at properties I would have preferred. Pay is not competitive, even when commissions are factored in. On my second day of work I was told to "figure it out" by the manager (who was on his personal cell phone talking to a friend about football) regarding a prospect who needed a tour. I didn't have keys, availability, etc. I saw three separate people violate fair housing laws my first week. By three separate employees. Each property is different, so I guess just make sure to really check out the property, get a feel for the people working there, and check out the comps before you accept a position.
