When team members are having issues with their direct leadership, we want to know about it while they're still here so that we can work to address it. It's unfortunate that we weren't able to do that in this situation.
Our annual salary review process typically provides a solid forum for team members to discuss their salary goals, and generally speaking people love our on-call schedule because we have so many technical people in the rotation. Most team members do on-call one to two times per year, and we recently implemented weeknight after hours coverage to help the client facing teams achieve more solid balance.
