Professional environment, ability to go to school and advance in knowledge and skills as a building engineer, great networking experience for vendors such as welders, plumbers, A/C technicians. Most of all you get to learn hands on.

There was no ladder of success or room for advancement within the company. At the time the company was not growing and the building went up for sale shortly after I received the job. Which is one of the reasons I decided to go in a different direction.
